If you find that you’re constantly using the excuse that you don’t have enough hours in the day and exercise falls to the bottom of your list, we’ve got a few ways to get your sneaky workout in!

In the kitchen there’s plenty of opportunity to fit in an exercise or two whether it’s the microwave counting down, kettle boiling, pasta cooking, vegetable steaming… the list goes on! When you’re in the kitchen you are probably less likely to want to do big explosive movements or anything on the floor so here’s a list of some alternative moves that will still fire up those muscles:

  • Wall sits
  • Squat holds
  • Lunges
  • Calf raises
  • Press ups against the counter
  • Bicep curls with some cans

In the bathroom whilst you brush your teeth, swill the mouthwash or wait for your face mask sink in, you’ve got plenty of chances to try these exercises:

  • Squats
  • Tricep dips against the bath
  • Shoulder presses with the shampoo and conditioner bottles
  • Lateral arm raises and holds
