Are you ready for the new monthly fitness challenge?
If you fancy a challenge, then this is for you. If you want to participate then ask one of our members of staff for more information or if you would prefer you can just do the challenge alone for your own personal achievement.
This month’s challenge is the alternating press ups and squats challenge.
To complete simply start with a press up and follow immediately with a bodyweight squat. Increase the number of press ups and squats by 1 each time. There is no rest between rounds. For example:
1 press up/1 squat
2 press ups/2 squats
3 press ups/3 squats
And so, on until you cannot complete a round of press ups or squats. A staff member will record which round you made it to. If you wish you can alter this to press ups on their knees if they wish.
