We are pleased to confirm that motive8 returned to take part at RichDance 2018, which took place on 9th and 10th March at The Hammond Theatre at Hampton School.
Over 450 dancers were involved in the two-day dance festival, showcasing a dazzling variety of extraordinary talent, great enthusiasm and high amounts of fun and enjoyment.
The motive8 street dancers, made up of a group of six dancers this year, performed a four-minute routine to a mix of popular new street and pop songs.
The group have performed at the event for five years running and were delighted to be invited back, and enjoyed making the most of the chance to show off their hard work and training.
St Marys University is the spot where the street dancers rehearse on a weekly basis, but the group can be found performing at a number of local events and fairs.
RichDance is the borough’s annual platform for new dance. Their aim is to make dance accessible to all and to offer performance opportunities to anyone who is excited and inspired by dance.
