The cardiovascular system is made up of your heart and blood vessels and is responsible for transporting oxygen and nutrients around your body which is very important for efficient daily activities and to be able to live comfortably.

Physical activity in general improves your cardiovascular system with some methods more than others. To make sure that you are improving your cardiovascular system via the training that you are doing, you need to ensure that you increase your heart rate and breathing rate which is mainly achieved by increasing your exercise duration, exercise intensity as well as including interval training or submaximal or maximal aerobic capacity training.
